PGCHS Soaring Through the Years

Polangui General Comprehensive High School (PGCHS) is considered to be one of the prime institutions in the Bicol region.  It is a legend that bears stories of learners and mentors which will serve as inspirations to many.

For the past 73 years, PGCHS has been producing academically-competent scholars, critical thinkers, skilled individuals and even outstanding mentors. Every school calendar, PGCHS brings pride to its hometown, Polangui because of its excellent performance in various events. PGCHSians compete and win in the division, regional, national, and even in the international level. No doubt, PGCHS has been renowned as Home of the Champions in Albay.

As one of the 54 regional leader schools in the country, PGCHS has evolved into a center for training and development through the years, and they will continue to hone students and mentors to reach their fullest potential. With the Science, Technology and Engineering, Special Program in the Arts and Sports, as well as the Basic Education Curriculum, this institution prepares graduates to a more complex society that requires flexibility.

With its vision to provide the youth an education that shall mold teenagers into a disciplined and literate member of the community, PGCHS will surely continue to push the boundaries that will exceed  expectations.
